saturday~

went to service today.. call cg and shireen to see whether they have a seat for me.. but they nv pick up.. so i sit alone.. but it's ok.. i felt the presence of God.. so comforting... and i know tat no matter hw tired and stressful my life can be, He is my rest..

After service, went to Funan to have our dinner.. and i saw this thumbdrive so cheap.. 25 bucks... so i bought it...

i was so hungry~ and tis mee siam save my life~

yea.. tat's my day.. tmr suppose to go Escape with Mei xiu and her BF de.. but nobody accompany me.. Sean in malaysia.. sian~
But Meixiu postpone it to next week~ yea.. love her so much.... :)

fifth day

alrite.. as usual.. went to Rosyth sch.. today is my first time to conduct lesson.. i guess i mess up everything.. my instruction is not clear... Li ling repeat exactly what i said in the class.. wa.. i felt so lousy lah... den she say i dun have the passion to teach... den she once in awhile stop me during my lesson to teach me... guess she still dun have confident in me... she said " i have no passion in my job!!!" :( argh.. i cant imagine how would it be like for the next few lesson using the tab kids... to draw Manga Arts? *God save me*

went to Nanyang Girls sch with Felix the cat.... in the afternoon
he super tall lah (190cm) i ask him to stand a distance away from me. he makes me look like a shorty...

do nothing much there... took some pics.. dont blame me for the blur pic.. i snap those pic during the class... nobody's should know i am taking pics.. not even felix.. that's why.. i mus snap it fast....

super sad with my performance today..

Went to office.. and went home with Felix.. it was a long journey.. have a good chat with Felix...

Den Astley called me to check out why am i so sad tis afternoon... he assure me everything will be fine... and i hope so too..

fourth day

Went to Rosyth as usual. gonna teach tmr.. super excited lah.. tonite cant slp liao.... den after that went to Potong Pasir to meet Astley for lunch... he brought me to eat a famous prawn mee stall..

den he treat me eat this.. so nice of him~
the noodle is nice.. you should try it!!!

and Astley keep drinking n drinking the lemon tea~ he drank 3 cups of lemon tea.. oh man.. dun he feel full?Astley : Hey, drink water is good for you, dun look at me like some aliens can?after lunch.. went to Astley's hse to take his bag before going to Cedar Pri it's a raining day~ (on the way to Cedar Pri) I like tis Pic!!! Astley look like a small boy going to sch)Astley edited Version~ nice rite.. look like some lonely way back home~My Cedar Pri visitor pass~ After session.. went to have a drink with Astley.. He asked : What is the most important thing in ur life?Many of us.. didnt really think about it.. or have think abt it.. but dunno the answer.. or some of us might say is our family, frens and our love ones... or even moneyden he said : The most important thing in our life is to be happy! We come to this earth with nothing.. No friends, no love ones.. no money.. we come with nothing and we go with nothing.. we dont bring our money or ppl in our life together with us when we die.. therefore.. we should be happy everyday in what we do... we can earn alot of money and not be happy(so wat's the point?) Enjoy ur life here on earth, Life is short.. so work hard and play hard.. If you wan to do something.. do it.. dun keep saying next time, next time... Ur next time might not come forever.. dun do things with regret.. Give ur best shot...Astley is jus an encyclopedia.. can nv stop learning from him.. he dun seem like a manager to me.. more like a friend.. a brother.. someone tat i can really talk to.. talk to him abt relationship thingy.. we dun seem like got generation gap~ Astley is young at heart!cheers~

third day~

went to Rosyth sch today.. i over sit in the bus.. and i missed the bus-stop.. OMG~ i am slightly late.. (Hope astley is not reading tis)

after Rosyth.. me Liling and Melissa went back to the office..

have our lunch at nearby NUS... den rush off to Crescent Girls with Astley.. to meet Jane to pass her a cheque.. Astley showed me the studio at tat sch..

den we went to Millennium Institution..

and he bought me a drink~ so nice of him.. thanks Ast~

as usual learn alot from him

(btw.. he jus cut botak) look like some Prisoner.. he say he wan to be GTO o..

second day of work

woo hoo.. my second day of my work..
i woke up at 4.45am. Yes i know tat i am early and i am is.. i reached the Rosyth sch at 6.30am where it suppose to be 7am.. waited there for them
anyway.. there were me, liling Lek and Melissa... taught for 2 sessions.. after tat.. went to nearby coffee shop together with Astley to have our lunch.. Astley came to the sch jus to bring me go North Vista
After lunch.. went to Greendale sec sch with Astley..he intro me to the ppl there... imagine i have to shake hand(act professional) with the teachers... jus as if im in the same rank as them.. wahaha.. nv thought tat i will be a teacher one day.. cool huh... he went there to meet HOD-IT and teacher in charge to discuss the plan of studio.. on how the division should be placed, the equipement and prices etc.. btw.. there is an air riffle room in tat sch.. so cool hor...
i am so happy tat.. i am at least not being abandon at North Vista~ den after Greendale sec.. suppose to go down to North Vista for my boring duty.. but Astley help me make a call down.. and they so no need ppl liao.. so i followed him to Rosyth again for his Video lesson...

i followed one team(as Astley assigned)

We went to the boy's toilet for filming...Astley and students at discussionafter the session... it was bout 3.30.. no where to go.. also cannot so early off work.. so Astley and me stay at tat sch.. den i begin to ask him.. wat sch is he from? he told me he has the lowest eduction among all of us in the team.. he really inspire me as he share his story with him.. As a boss... he is not even abit to hide anything from me.. he told me he was only finished his Secondary Education... since then he start work as very a low level job worker (such as construction worker and some others job which didnt earn much) den after saying so much he didnt answer my qns.. why he know so much about multimedia..

he said.. he have zero knowledge abt multimedia as he never even studied before.. he said.. he uses his saving to buy a camera.. and loved photography alot.. he took pictures of almost anything.. he also send some pics for a competition.. and he won himself an award.. not only tat.. he uses pictures to do animation.. and his passion in photography brings him to know abt tis program called "adobe after effect" the toughest program among photoshop and other program... i asked him why choose adobe after effect to use? he said.. cos he had zero knowledge.. and dunno anything.. he learn everything from scratch.. purely exploring himself and also some self study.. and now he know so many nice effect and so creative way.. he taught me alot.. but i cant remember any single thing now.. i was so amazed by wat he knows.. jus by exploring and self study yet.. it is so much better than me.. he was also a producer in Malaysia.. he was being assigned an $40,000 advertisment in 30 mins.. he is my idol man!

he showed me his work.. and some of his student's work... "WOW" so pro can.. never know tat.. one tat start everything from scratch can know so many things... "pei fu.. pei fu" he taught me some skills too.. he really inspired and motivated me so much.. so ashamed tat i got chance also didnt study hard in sch...
Initially i thought i got the wrong move by joining tis company.. after knowing Astley.. so much worth it.. he told me.. nobody is stupid... mus have good attitude to learn.. he learnt through the hardest way.. who can be worst than him.. he so willing to share..

First day of work in asknlearn

my first day of work in asknlearn... now, i know people cant wait to ask me how was it.. and i cant wait to tell all of u guys wat happen!

yes.. first.. it was raining early in the morning, despite i woke up at 5 plus am in the morning.. overly excited and i couldnt get myself to sleep! so i thought i will be early to work as i left home at bout 7 for a job at 8.30. Yes.. so wrong lah.. due to the rain.. i took a train to buona vista and waited at bus 200.. so crowded.. and can u imagine people crowded over u everywhere in a rainy day~ pls dun imagine~ i spent more than 1hr 30 mins to reach there~

lucky the HR lady (Mui hua) was late too.. after she reached she assigned me to know this multimedia specialist (Felix Goh) a very nice guy.. he bring me ard the company and one by one intro the people to me~

he then pass me a DVD for some training.. i spend half of my days on the dvd.. and i get super boring lah.. lucky ppl there are so nice.. they invited me to join them for lunch....

btw.. the next half of my day.. Astley Wong (the one interview for tis job) (having difficuties in pronoucing my name - keep calling me Jean, but i notice.. i am not the only one) He is quite a nice guy as well.. bring me to River valley Pri. sch with Fion.. i got to learn alot from him.. he was once a producer.. and he really can teach ppl in fliming.. he came up with really creative ideas to help students in their videos~ it was enjoyable there...

and the story didnt end here.. after River Valley we went back to office to have a meeting.. i was surprise at their way of meeting ( i thought was some serious talking) but they joked here n there..

i feel very comfortable with ppl there.. and their way of meeting was very causal.. and even boss will talk to u jus like a fren... but but but as i was told they really in need of ppl.. i have to teach Manga Animated Arts.. which i have totally zero ideas about it.. tmr i am following LiLing to Rosyth School (Pri) to see how she teaches.. and after 2 weeks of following her.. i am on my own to teach myself, CAN U IMAGINE?

and one of our member jus got into an bike accident.. so i need to go down North Vista Sec Sch tmr after Rosyth ON MY OWN, go there knock n ask.. and bang walls . hit the nails... and all this happen at my second day of work!!

I never expect things to turn up this bad for me.. left offices at 7pm.. talked to Felix and Ashlynn(ex republican - first batch) hai.. they know i am scare... so on my way home.. Felix smsed me.. its really encourage me alot~

Felix : Jane, Tmr i meet you at Rosyth then bring you to north vista ok... no worries

Jane : Haha. No need la. I'm ok de. Need to overcome it. Everythinghave first time. Scare later i go there everything also dunno.. den will sabo asknlearn.

Felix : i will bring you k? No worries... I meet you at Rosyth first time dont want you to be stressed k? No worries you can conquer later

Jane : Hmm. Really I'm ok de. Anyway a few hours, will be over very soon de, Felix the cat, really thanks thanks =)

Felix : Jane, its my job to take care of new people... No more fighting back i meet you tmr.

Jane : Really la. I'm ok to go alone de. Already prepare my heart liao. But pls pls dun attach me to any sch. Mus save ne can liao.

Felix : I see you tmr... Jane not cause i dont trust you i tell you more Tmr k? see ya

Yes.. tat's the nice Felix i met today..
oh.. everyday was so exciting with this job... wat's more can i asked? God expand my ability!!!
