First day of work in asknlearn
my first day of work in asknlearn... now, i know people cant wait to ask me how was it.. and i cant wait to tell all of u guys wat happen!
yes.. first.. it was raining early in the morning, despite i woke up at 5 plus am in the morning.. overly excited and i couldnt get myself to sleep! so i thought i will be early to work as i left home at bout 7 for a job at 8.30. Yes.. so wrong lah.. due to the rain.. i took a train to buona vista and waited at bus 200.. so crowded.. and can u imagine people crowded over u everywhere in a rainy day~ pls dun imagine~ i spent
more than 1hr 30 mins to reach there~
lucky the HR lady (Mui hua) was late too.. after she reached she assigned me to know this multimedia specialist (Felix Goh) a very nice guy.. he bring me ard the company and one by one intro the people to me~
he then pass me a DVD for some training.. i spend half of my days on the dvd.. and i get super boring lah.. lucky ppl there are so nice.. they invited me to join them for lunch....
btw.. the next half of my day.. Astley Wong (the one interview for tis job) (having difficuties in pronoucing my name - keep calling me Jean, but i notice.. i am not the only one) He is quite a nice guy as well.. bring me to River valley Pri. sch with Fion.. i got to learn alot from him.. he was once a producer.. and he really can teach ppl in fliming.. he came up with really creative ideas to help students in their videos~ it was enjoyable there...
and the story didnt end here.. after River Valley we went back to office to have a meeting.. i was surprise at their way of meeting ( i thought was some serious talking) but they joked here n there..
i feel very comfortable with ppl there.. and their way of meeting was very causal.. and even boss will talk to u jus like a fren...
but but but as i was told they really in need of ppl.. i have to teach Manga Animated Arts.. which i have totally zero ideas about it.. tmr i am following LiLing to Rosyth School (Pri) to see how she teaches.. and after 2 weeks of following her.. i am
on my own to teach myself, CAN U IMAGINE?
and one of our member jus got into an bike accident.. so i need to go down North Vista Sec Sch tmr after Rosyth
ON MY OWN, go there knock n ask.. and bang walls . hit the nails... and all this happen at my
second day of work!!
I never expect things to turn up this bad for me.. left offices at 7pm.. talked to Felix and Ashlynn(ex republican - first batch) hai.. they know i am scare... so on my way home.. Felix smsed me.. its really encourage me alot~
Felix : Jane, Tmr i meet you at Rosyth then bring you to north vista ok... no worries Jane : Haha. No need la. I'm ok de. Need to overcome it. Everythinghave first time. Scare later i go there everything also dunno.. den will sabo asknlearn.Felix : i will bring you k? No worries... I meet you at Rosyth first time dont want you to be stressed k? No worries you can conquer later
Jane : Hmm. Really I'm ok de. Anyway a few hours, will be over very soon de, Felix the cat, really thanks thanks =)
Felix : Jane, its my job to take care of new people... No more fighting back i meet you tmr.Jane : Really la. I'm ok to go alone de. Already prepare my heart liao. But pls pls dun attach me to any sch. Mus save ne can liao.Felix : I see you tmr... Jane not cause i dont trust you i tell you more Tmr k? see yaYes.. tat's the nice Felix i met today..
oh.. everyday was so exciting with this job... wat's more can i asked? God expand my ability!!!
